Long time school teacher in Carlsbad, New Mexico, Sammy Dobbs, 91, passed away September

29, 2020 in Frisco Texas. Sammy lived in Carlsbad from the time she was a senior in high school

until 2014, when because of failing health, Sammy moved to Frisco to be near her sons. Sammy

was born in Pawhuska, Oklahoma on August 27, 1929 to Morris and Evelyn Kennedy.

Sammy is survived by her sons: Michael Dobbs and wife, Sylvia of The Colony, Texas, Patrick

Dobbs of Frisco, Texas, Rusty Dobbs and wife, Cindy of Albuquerque, NM and Sammy Dobbs

and wife, Carrie of Flora Vista, NM; grandchildren: Toby Dobbs, Bryan Dobbs, Ryan Dobbs,

Whitney Hicks and husband, David, Jared Dobbs and wife, Michelle and Rory Dobbs; great-

grandchildren: Sage, Beck, Ethan and Amy Dobbs, and Mylie, Coley and Ainsley Hicks; sister,

Jerry Ball and husband, Bob of Las Cruces, NM and several nieces and nephews.
