
Kenneth “Kenny” Summers, 75, of Blodgett Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away
Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at his home. Services will take place on a later date. Kenny
Summers was born September 4, 1945 in Taylorville, IL to Hagle Eugene and Olive
Elizabeth (Knight) Summers. He graduated from CHS in 1963. Kenny served in the Army
National Guard. He worked for Continental Airlines for a number of years and later worked
for Raytheon Missile Systems before retiring. Kenny enjoy karaoke, singing Elvis Presley,
but most of all he loved his Facebook family. Kenny was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors are son: Jon Summers; daughter: Amy Massey; grandchildren: Alexandria
Massey and Ryan Massey; sister: Dorothy Terry; brothers: Larry Summers and wife, Gloria:
Harry Summers and numerous nieces and nephews and extended family in Carlsbad and
