Joy Wilson, 73, of National Parks Highway, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2020 at her home.

Joy was born October 1, 1946 in Pampa, Texas to Royal Paul and Gertie Lea (Watkins) Halkins. She loved sitting outside in the afternoons drinking a cold pop and enjoyed spoiling her little dog (Dash) to the fullest with treats galore. Her hand-made Christmas gifts will be missed by so many. Joy was an avid reader. Most people knew her as Nanny since that is what her grandchildren called her. She was a one of a kind Gem that in the beginning is kind of rocky but put a polish on it and tumble for awhile and by time it shines you discover how beautiful it is and wasn’t just any old rock but something just a little more. Survivors are daughter: Tina Biscaino; sons: Pete Wilson and Todd Wilson; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
