Josie S. Rodriguez, 78, of Presidio Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico passed away on Monday,
January 18, 2021 in Lovington, New Mexico. Cremation will take place and there will be no
public service at this time. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Josie
was born July 23, 1942 in Carlsbad, New Mexico to Arturo and Maria (Sauceda) Morales. She
was an excellent seamstress. Josie enjoyed gardening and cherished her family. Josie was
preceded in death by her parents, sons: Eppie Morales, Manuel F. Rodriguez and Kelly
Rodriguez. Survivors are daughter: Christine Mendoza and husband, Andrew; sons: Tito
Rodriguez and Arturo Ramirez; daughter: Cynthia Rodriguez; 15 grandchildren; 27 great
grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; sister: Mary Hernandez and numerous nieces and
